LGBTQ + First Generation Therapy
Let’s honor your identity.
As someone who is exploring queerness and/or is first-generation, you’re navigating the spaces between cultures, expectations, and identities . It can feel like you’re living in two worlds, where your family’s cultural values and your own experiences might not always align.
That tension can lead to you feeling unseen, misunderstood, or othered. Maybe it’s been hard to speak your truth, or feel fully at home. In therapy, we can explore how your history has shaped your present, acknowledge your own values, and how to move toward more self-trust. We can talk about how to set boundaries, reclaim your autonomy, and still nurture meaningful connection with the people you care about.
Holistic, Somatic, Eco & Creative Arts Therapy
Creative therapy for creative people.
We are all shaped by the systems and cultures we live within, and for many exploring identity, the journey is a continual process of moving towards empowerment. Sometimes words alone aren’t enough to express the complexity of an experience.
Through creative arts therapy—using movement, art, music, and other forms of expression—we explore themes that may be difficult to put into words. This process helps you reclaim your voice, honor your strength, and create space to acknowledge all parts of yourself.
Somatic therapy invites you to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, accessing awareness to help release stored tension. I also deeply value ecotherapy—the healing power of nature—and we often explore your connection to the cycles of the seasons as a metaphor for growth, change, and renewal.
Together, we create a space where your identity, story, and creativity are honored.
