Wintering: finding movement in stillness
Winter encourages rest and reflection. Yet as light slowly returns, this season can also bring feelings of isolation, low energy, or disconnection. This Dance and Eco-Therapy Winter Wellness Workshop offers a nourishing space to gather, move intentionally, and cultivate warmth, both within ourselves and in community.
Through expressive movement, somatic awareness, and eco-therapeutic practices, participants will explore how attuning to the rhythms of winter can support embodiment and resilience. A central guiding principle of the workshop is the reminder that we are part of something larger: connected to nature, to one another, and to the cycles that shape our lives.
Group movement experiences and reflective dialogue will invite participants to find meaning in winter, honoring both its challenges and its purpose. Together, we’ll explore ways to soften, thaw, and gain insight from this season.
